VoicePump's predecessor company, Analogical Systems, has developed DSP software for telephony algorithms such as echo cancellation, caller identification, DTMF signaling, and more.  Both C language and optimized assembly language implementations of these algorithms are available under license for the DSP Group OakDSPCore, TeakDSPCore, PalmDSPCore as well as DSP chips from Texas Instruments, Motorola, Analog Devices and Hitachi.
